The author specifically requested that there would be an illustration of a slave ship merged witha Civil War bullet for the front cover and an illustration on the back of an angry town mob. Textures and muted colors were used throughout to reinforce the historical aspect of the book's content.

Custom illustrations were created for the competition and exhibition event. Taglines were created to help relate the illustration to the content of the event. The competition tagline is "Spin Your Ideas Before A Live Audience" and connects to the spider image. The exhibition's tagline is "Shine A Light On Social Justice" and connects to the firefly image. These images were used in various forms on the website, email newsletter, banners, event booklets, and signage.

It was important to the client that locations of where the major research in ehealth (Boston, Kuala Lumpur, and Kuwait City) were showcased in show way throughout the material. The binary code graphic was created to help communicate the idea of speed, communication, and technology. The strong red horizontal was used to add motion and direct the viewers eye across the page.

All of the spreads required a large amount of text to be incorporated. Interest was brought to design with bold colors, pattern, and dynamic UCA and UDA photography. Quotes about the benefits of UCA and UDA camps were used throughout the brochure and packaging to highlight the talent and professionalism of the organization.

Viking Kitchen''s branding elements were used to control the color palette and clean design. The diamond shaped layout was used to reinforce that Viking Kitchens are of high quality.
In January of 2014, I brought several students to Nicaragua to serve the non profit, Students International. While there we designed several fundraising materials including brochures, postcards, logos and posters for local missionaries and ministry sites. Each piece used the official Students International colors.

A gatefold brochure format was chosen because it allowed both the Memphis, TN and Greenbelt, MD locations to be featured equally on the cover. Original informational graphics were created for the inside spread. The client wanted the brochure to be very colorful to help them stand out from their competitors.

This design attempted to grab the viewer's eye with bold "Methodist red", dynamic typography, and flat graphics. A relevant bible verse was also used to strengthen the message.

Each of the garments were drawn using a simple flowing line to emphasize the identifing features. The layout includes size, fabric, and color information about each of the Urbane garments.

2007 Morgan Keegan Equity Conference
The client asked that the design show that there are many enjoyable aspects for a tourist in Memphis. By merging images of Wall Street and Beale Street together, the theme was communicated. The main image represents a financial line graph and a music bar. This graphic theme was applied to all of the conference promotion material and event signage.
Jesus Loves You Ministries
The client’s mission to provide transportation and counseling to people trying to overcome Methamphetamine addiction. The client specifically asked that the cross be featured on the front and that it would "glow".
