Since CIHS focuses on promoting the appreciation and conservation of reptiles and amphibians, the branding was created to showcase photography of these animals. The branding was selected for the 2012 AIGA St. Louis Pixels of Fury Design For Good Exhibition.
Cups n' Cakes is a Central Illinois bakery that specializes in gourmet cupcakes and traditional cakes.
The final logo shows a cake stand representing cupcakes and cakes rather than showing an actual cupcake as an icon. The more abstract concept allowed the client to also sell other bakery items outside of the ones in the business's name. The lettering and cake stand were intentionally drawn in a whimsical yet grown up manner to help communicate the idea of high quality ingredients. The logo was designed to be shown with or without the tagline.
Pana First United Methodist Church Branding & Collateral
Letterhead and business card designs also displayed
Pana First United Methodist Church's name was condensed to "Pana First" to help members and nonmembers identify with the brand on a more personal level. The church is well known for its blue and teal stain glass windows and decor so this theme was added to the logo design. The circle and the paint splash graphic serve to bridge the gap between contemporary and traditional since Pana First offers a "blended" service.
The branding was exhibited at the 2012 Central Illinois Advertising Club Decagons Awards Banquet.
Shown: (1) Digital Media Department Logo and Collateral. (2) Scriblerus Logo, Greenville College's online literary and art publication.
The chosen logo represents an abstract screen and utilizes dots to represent pixels which are common across each area of digital media. The orange and grey colors are Greenville College's official school colors. The circles, swirls, and squares were used to give the design a contemporary technological feel.
The brochure was exhibited at the 2011 Peoria Advertising Club ADDY Awards Gala.
Since The Scriblerus is Greenville College's oldest campus organization, the new logo design needed to reflect that heritage. It also needed to represent creative writing as the organization was changing its focus to be an online literary journal. This is why the pen and ink feel was developed.
This concept used a traditional blue ribbon and gold metal and added medical references with the stethoscope and nurse hat and smile icon.
While employeed at Lewis Clark Advertising Design, I worked on several catalogs for Landau. This LTD icon was created to draw attention to fabrics that limited.
